Privacy
The product runs on your server and your data stays there. This is everything that reaches us.
From your server
Your panel sends its Server ID to techshan.app to start the trial and to look for its license. The Server ID is a hash of a hardware identifier; the identifier itself never leaves your server. With it the panel says which version of TECHSHAN it runs and what kind of machine it is on: the operating system, the host name, the processor architecture, the number of processors, the amount of memory and how long the server has been running. Nothing else is sent: no files, no names of people, nothing about what runs on the server or how it is used.
Each time it asks (every few minutes), we keep those details as they were last sent, when it asked, the network address it asked from and the country of that address. They show which server is which and whether it is online, in your account and to our support.
When you choose Sign in to techshan.app in your panel and agree on the page that opens, the panel gets the name and the email address of your account here, to show them in its menu. To learn whether a newer version exists, the panel reads the number and the date of the newest version from this site.
When you buy
Payment is handled by Stripe. We receive the Server ID, the email address you gave Stripe, the amount and the date, and keep them to give you your key again. We never see your card.
An account on this website
An account is optional: it keeps your licenses in one place and lets you move one to new hardware. We keep its email address, a hash of its password (never the password itself), and when and from which network address it was signed in to.
When you create an account or sign in, we note the country your network address is in, as a two-letter code; you can change or clear it in your account. If you add a photo, it is stored with us and shown in your account and to our support.
Mails and messages
Mails about your orders, your password and your support tickets are sent because you use the service. Announcements and offers are mailed only if you ask for them — with the box when you create the account, or later in your account — and every such mail has a link that stops them with one click.
If you connect Telegram in your account, we keep the number of that chat and the name Telegram shows for you, and send notifications there: an order was paid, support answered. Announcements go there only if you turn that on. Disconnect in your account, or send /stop to the bot, and both are deleted.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account yourself, under Security in your account. Your profile, your sign-in, your photo, your support tickets and your notification settings are deleted at once. The orders stay as records of the purchase, and the licenses stay with the email they were bought with, so the key of a server can still be fetched; the security log keeps its entries. Backups made before the deletion are deleted with their retention period.
